Our School
North Decatur Junior/Senior High in Greensburg, Indiana, has been educating seventh through twelfth grade students for 50 years! And that tradition of excellence shines through in all we do.
Students in seventh and eighth grade learn in teams while our high school students enjoy a comprehensive high school curriculum that offers dual credit and AP courses, a robust fine arts program, vocational learning opportunities, and family and consumer science courses.
We also offer a variety of interscholastic sports, club and civic organizations, and technology and engineering courses through Project Lead the Way.
Project Lead the Way
Project Lead the Way (PLTW) allows our students to learn science and engineering skills through project-based inquiry and real world problem solving. We offer PLTW instruction to our students in both junior and senior high. You can learn more about NDHS’ specific PLTW options on our Academics page.
Advanced Placement and Dual-Credit Options
Advanced Placement (AP) courses are college-level classes students take while still in high school. Some AP courses are also dual credit courses. Dual credit courses give high school students the opportunity to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously. AP and dual-credit courses are perfect for students planning to attend college. A typical high school graduate can earn 15–30 college credits by the end of their senior year through AP and dual-credit courses.
Career and Technical Education
Our Career Technical Education program (CTE) engages students in dynamic, hands-on learning experiences that build career and technical skills (and in some cases allow the student to earn nationally-recognized certifications). Learn more on our Academics page.
